What are the ingredients for a successful charity story?

Sherry Adhami (Director of Communications) and Richard Piggin (Deputy Chief Executive), Beatbullying

Spring conference: Beatbullying

Sherry has spent the last two years increasing awareness of bullying as well as growing Beatbullying's profile. She manages its press office, coordinates its national communications campaigns and acts as one of the charity's spokespeople on the issues of bullying and peer social activism.

Richard develops Beatbullying's policy, strategy and communications, and works closely with a range of stakeholders to advise local, regional and national Government. Richard has delivered national and regional anti-bullying strategies and campaigns, working with thousands of young people to raise awareness of bullying and help deliver effective bullying prevention work in schools and communities across England and Wales.

In their presentation, Sherry and Richard talked about how to keep young audiences engaged, collaboration with a celebrity spokesperson and how Beatbullying - the UK's leading bullying prevention charity - has utilised social media.
